I now use the Pixel Buds A-Series on my phone. Which, again, is unfortunate because I bought these precisely so I could multi-point with my phone and PC. However the latency on Windows is so much worse than on Android that I never use them with my PC. I connected these to my Windows 10 gaming PC to try that out. That said, the Bluetooth connection is still not the most stable – though I think that's gotten a little better since the firmware upgrade. Audio quality is great and ANC works really well. They're still great for audio though (ie podcasts and music). Which is unfortunate because this is the most comfortable pair of wireless earphones I've ever bought. I've basically stopped using these for watching video on my phone. Latency is still pretty bad on Android (I have a Pixel 6 Pro). But if the above is true, it could also be that it's a codec issue - Windows supports AAC since mid-April 2021, I think, so it could also be because they were running an old Windows build? What I saw seemed in keeping with the iOS number to maybe the listed Android number, but definitely / clearly not the listed PC number. ![]() There is a slight latency difference between Windows and iOS for me, but it's small. iOS, but gaming also seems on the good end of what I've ever seen with earbuds. The difference between 46 ms and 234 ms is quite large and should be immediately apparent.Ģ) The second thing I did was just watch a well-synced video on the two devices.ģ) There isn't really anything I can A/B a video game on, Windows vs. I tried a couple of things:ġ) This video is basically just an audiovisual metronome, and you can see from when you hear the sound vs. ![]() I'm connected to both via Multipoint (IDK how much of a difference this makes, but I am at the moment). My firmware is updated, and I have iOS and Windows 11 handy to test. 234 is close to unusable (it's 1/4 second, basically!). Look at particularly the Bluetooth box, about 3/4 down the page, and these reported stats:Ĥ6 is pretty good, TBH. This is an old thread, but I just got a pair (so far I'm happy, their latency seems comparable to other buds I've used, adequate for most gaming even) and I saw this:
